ReimonenQ Phoenix was born of an experiment carried out by an engineer using a yeast strain specifically for rum production.
This is a white rhum agricole from the 2018 vintage that has matured for 2 years in stainless steel tanks.
The name of this cuvée is a tribute to Léopold Reimonenq's recovery and return to Guadeloupe. He went through a difficult period during a trip to Metropolitan France in 2017.
It also symbolizes the distillery's rebirth thanks to this new yeast, which enables the creation of new aromas in the rums it distills.
