Royal Cane Guadeloupe 1998 is a molasses rum distilled in Guadeloupe in 1998. The Bellevue distillery is Damoiseau, not the distillery of the same name on Marie-Galante.
This rum, which was distilled in 1998 in columns, spent 7 years in the tropics. It then returned to the UK in 2005 to complete its ageing, still in American ex-bourbon casks, in the Liverpool cellars.
Bottled in 2022 at 51.5° after 24 years of aging, the single barrel number M080 made it possible to produce 265 bottles.
