Laurent's tasting notes
It is straw-colored.
On the nose, it gives a rather gourmand impression: it's fruity with apple and banana. The cask has also done its job, giving us cooked caramel, sweet spices and a slight powdery impression. All in all, a pleasant and promising nose.
On the palate, it's drier than you'd expect. The attack is less expressive, and not all the markers of the nose are present; mainly sweet spices reappear.
The finish is long. Notes of baked caramel (and a hint of smoke) linger for a long time.
