Rum Nation 2007 Jamaica Peated Cask Finish is a curiosity for lovers of expressive, original rums. It is a Jamaican molasses rum, first aged for 10 years in bourbon casks in its country of origin.
Fabio Rossi, Rum Nation's creator, is also a whisky bottler. He chose to make two aromatic monsters meet, by continuing the aging of this rum in barrels that had contained peated whisky. The result is explosive, and only 828 were bottled.
