This 1997 Caroni is a bottling from the famous Italian trading house Samaroli.
This is a molasses rum distilled at the legendary Caroni distillery in 1997. The distillery was owned by the state of Trinidad and Tobago until 2002, when it ceased operations.
In 2022, 132 bottles were racked from cask number 899. Like all Samaroli bottlings, the rum completed its ageing process in Scotland.
This cuvée has been reduced to 55°.
