Sampan blanc 43° is a pure cane juice rum from the Distillerie d'Indochine in Vietnam. The local sugar cane is grown in the hills of Quang Nam province, not far from the distillery. No chemical inputs are used. The cane is harvested entirely by hand, ensuring the purity of the juice.
Distillation takes place in a French copper column still. To reach 43%, the distillery carries out a very slow reduction. This enables it to retain all the aromas. Take a look: the distillation took place on October 20, 2018, but bottling didn't take place until March 15, 2020!

Rum that tastes more like alcohol than cane... In short, I don't like it.
