Savanna Lontan Straight is a creation of the “Master Distiller” of the Savanna distillery. Located in Saint André, in the northeast of Reunion Island, Savanna is renowned for its molasses rums with high ester levels.
This is the grand aroma rum called “Lontan”. Batch LS.04.22 is made from molasses from the Bois Rouge sugar refinery in 2021. Its distillation in a Savalle column took place after a long fermentation of 8 days.
The congener content of this vintage peaks at 1027 g/hlap with an ester content of 784.6 g/hlap. This limited edition, bottled in 2024 without reduction, exists in only 5800 copies.
