Our tasting note from Thomas
The nose is simple and straightforward, with a light approach. Apples, peaches and lightly smoked malt are combined. There are hints of warm metal, nutmeg and tangerine. The whole is balanced and progresses without any aggressiveness.
The palate is just as smooth, with a hint of very slightly smoky malt, dry cereals and malt. Aromas of tangerine and apple stand out, but remain attached to their shyness. At times, a hint of cinnamon and white pepper can be detected.
The finish is short but continues to convey flavors of lightly smoked malt, tangerine and apple. There's also caramel, malt and a little white pepper.
