Punch Planteur, produced by Domaine Séverin in Guadeloupe, is a carefully blended composition designed to let you discover the authentic flavors of the West Indies. Very pleasant on the palate, it was awarded three silver medals at the Paris Agricultural Show in 2007, 2010 and 2011.
Punch Planteur Séverin is a blend of white and aged rums from the distillery, fresh fruit juice and pulp, cane sugar syrup and natural flavors. It is best drunk chilled.
Nico's tasting notes
In short: fruity - soft - gourmand - not too sweet
A real planter's nose, well-fruited and sweet, with rum running at full speed behind the scenes. The fruit is ripe and velvety, with hints of apricot, guava, banana... The passion fruit and its acidity are very welcome, and the balance is very pleasant. The cane and sugar sometimes flirt with frangipane when the planter rests, and it's truly gourmand.
The palate is not too thick or sweet, and the alcohol is almost undetectable. The texture, too, is balanced, neither too fluid nor too suave. The fruit is resolutely exotic, with ripe banana, pineapple and guava delighting the taste buds with their tropical flavors.
"A real, well-balanced planter, as we know how to make them in the West Indies..."
