This Six Saints brand rum distilled by the Grenada Distillers Ltd company benefits from a rather spicy refining.
It is a molasses rum aged in American oak ex-bourbon barrels in the tropics.
It is only subsequently refined in Scotland where it spends 62 days in a whiskey barrel from the Irish West Cork distillery. The particularity of this maturation, in fact, is that the barrel has previously been filled with “Rebel Chili” hot sauce.
