Habitation Velier heads to the island of Grenada for this selection. It's a pot still distilled pure cane juice rum from Renegade.
Made from the Lacalome Red sugarcane variety, this rum comes from the 2020 distillation campaign.
It is aged for 3 years in a combination of two types of casks. These are old French oak barrels, and new American oak barrels.
The proportion of angels in this tropical ageing process is around 8%. The congeners content is 466.4 g/hlap, of which 207.2 g/hlap are esters.
