IMPORTANT: by putting “bottle” in your basket you are purchasing 2 different 50 cl bottles. Likewise for the samples you will receive 1 sample of each of the 2 rums by putting 1 unit in your basket.
The independent French bottler Spirit Gallery breaks preconceptions with this duo of Rons.
As a reminder, a ron designates a rum of Hispanic tradition. This type of rum is ultimately very close to British rum.
While simplifying things, Benjamin from Spirit Gallery likes to point out that these two types of rums are obtained in the same way.
For example for Belize, Guyana or Barbados, it is molasses, with a short fermentation, followed by column distillation then aging in bourbon barrels. Breeding is very often done in solera.
The Hispanic tradition follows the same patterns, except that the Rons are generally reduced and mixed with inputs before bottling.
Here Benjamin offers a duo of Latin American rums without any addition, without reduction, and with static aging.
Both rums come from the same distillery. They were distilled to different degrees
You will be able to discover these 2 expressions, alone or by putting them together because it is a Ron and a Heavy Ron.
They benefited from 11 years of tropical aging in ex-Tennessee American oak barrels.
