This Grand Arôme du Galion is part of the Easy Peasy Series by Swell de Spirits . It is a blend of four rums aged in ex-bourbon barrels .
Distilled at the Galion distillery in Martinique, which produces Grand Arôme rums , it is the result of a prolonged fermentation of 8 to 10 days.

Jérémie's tasting notes
On the nose : Yellow fruits rise from the glass, a light varnish, roasted pineapple and a slightly saline side.
As you get closer, the pineapple becomes more intense and slides towards aromas of black olives in tapenade; notes of maceration and solvent are still present, along with some spices.
On the palate : The attack is soft and smooth, coating the mouth with deep notes of ripe fruit, roasted pineapple, and flambéed banana, always with a hint of olive. Amidst the very ripe tropical fruit, one finds a well-worn, aged leather and a touch of tobacco.
The finish : long and enveloping, still with those high ester notes typical of great aromas, candied fruits, roasted notes and leather.
