Thanks to its unique aromatic bouquet, tasting Trois Rivières Cuvée de l'Océan white rum is an invitation to discover Martinique.
This distinctive cuvée is made from sugar cane grown on plots of land close to the sea, in Anse Trabaud in the south of the island.
The aromas derived from this geographical specificity are combined with the benefits of perfectly controlled distillation.
Laurent's tasting notes
Its color is translucent.
On the nose, sugarcane dominates, complemented by citrus (lime). In terms of both alcohol and aroma, the rum is relatively smooth.
On the palate, this sweetness is confirmed, and its almost unctuous texture further enhances this feeling. Cane also dominates, this time complimented by saline notes.
The finish is moderately long, and it's definitely the sugar cane that dominates throughout the tasting. The iodine/saltiness is even more pronounced on the finish.
