This Swell de Spirits from the Wonders of The World series is a French bottling of molasses rum from Trinidad Distillers Ltd. This distillery is the last in operation on the island of Trinidad and Tobago. It is a column distillery.
This molasses rum was distilled in December 2009, and aged for 5 years in the tropics in the distillery's cellars, before finishing its ageing in the UK for 7 years. This single cask thus spent 12 years in ex-bourbon and then ex-rum casks before being bottled brut de fût in June 2022.
Its color is natural, and it has not been cold-filtered. Only 317 of these superb bottles were ever produced.
