Suave XVII is a rum from the Aldea family distillery located in La Palma in the Canary Islands.
After distillation, this rum aged for 17 years in ex-bourbon oak barrels according to the solera principle. Aging continued with dynamic breeding at sea aboard the motorless sailboat Tres Hombres.
For this, the rum was transferred to Pedro-Ximénez and Pineaux des Charentes barrels.
This 52nd edition from the Tres Hombres bottler only exists in 1841 copies.
The decorations on the bottle reflect the elements of the sailboat's journey.
