This Polish vodka is made by the illustrious Potocki family from a tall grass that bison in Poland liked to eat.
This herb is also known as bison grass, and has been used to flavor vodka ever since it was first distilled.
The Potocki distillery produced this lithuanian tallgrass until 1944. It has recently restarted production, adding a touch of vanilla to support the natural sweetness of this hand-harvested herb.
To be consumed chilled!
Jérémie's tasting notes
On the nose : Sweet aromas of honey and vanilla are very present, accompanying freshly cut herbs.
On the palate : The attack is soft and round, sweet, releasing notes of slightly smoky herbs accompanied by spices like pepper and sumac, always with that vanilla in the background.
The finish : we remain on the spices and smoky herbal notes coated in vanilla
