The Original Wheated Bourbon is an American bourbon whisky created by William Larue Weller. He was one of Kentucky's Bourbon pioneers.
He is best known for being the first to replace rye with wheat in the "mash bill", the cereal blend used to make American whiskies.
This W.L. Weller Bourbon distilled at Buffalo Trace is aged for 12 years, which is considerably longer than most wheat bourbons.
