William Hinton Blanc is an agricultural rum from the island of Madeira. It bears the name of a sugar and rum giant, who created the country's largest distillery at the turn of the 20th century. Although the distillery has now closed its doors, the distillation column has been preserved, and was recommissioned in 2006 by Engenho Novo Da Madeira.
The pure juice is distilled on this column after a rapid 24-hour fermentation, and the rum is reduced to 40%. It's the perfect way to discover the style, gently and lightly.
