William Hinton 6 Year Old Spanish Fortified Wine Cask is an agricultural rum from the beautiful island of Madeira. This island covered with sugar cane is one of the first to have produced rum. And even before the new world! This rum of pure sugarcane juice was distilled in columns. It was then put into French oak barrels for 6 years.
At the end of this first maturation, it was placed in a cask of Spanish fortified wine (sherry). It was also enhanced with a bit of very old 25 year old rum. This is a single cask, 340 bottles.
