The Banks brand specializes in blended rums.
These rums come from a wide range of countries, mainly but not exclusively from the Caribbean.

The "master blender" who creates the blends and supervises operations is Arnaud de Trabuc, nicknamed "the king of rum".

The brand name honors Joseph Banks, an 18th century naturalist and botanist. This English explorer indeed sailed the seas of the world in the company of the famous Captain James Cook. Read less
