The Camus cognac house was founded in 1863 by Jean-Baptiste Camus. This winegrower brought together his colleagues to produce top-quality cognac. Today, we're in the fifth generation of the same family, and the brand is an international benchmark.

Located in the Borderies area, Camus is one of the region's largest houses, renowned for its terroir representativeness. We also grow in other areas, such as the Bois à Terroirs (or Bois Ordinaires) appellation on the Ile de Ré.

The distillery has developed the " Intensity " method, which sets it apart in terms of aromatic concentration. Only the most concentrated distillates are selected during the second distillation, ensuring a rich palette. Read less
