Chivas Regal is a prestigious Scotch whisky brand, created in 1801 by brothers James and John Chivas , two grocers from Aberdeen, Scotland. Initially, they sold whisky under their own name before venturing into the art of blending, selecting casks from various local producers to create harmonious and high-quality blends. This approach quickly earned them a reputation for excellence.

In 1843, the brand was honored by Queen Victoria with the title of "Official Supplier to the Royal Court," further solidifying its prestige. At the beginning of the 20th century, Chivas Regal established itself as one of the most popular Scotch whiskies internationally. In the 1950s , the brand launched its first 12-year-old expression , which became an iconic blend recognized worldwide.

Throughout its history, Chivas Regal has expanded its range by offering new expressions with distinctive aromatic profiles. In 1997 , the brand was acquired by the Pernod Ricard Group, which contributed to its expansion and the construction of the Dalmunach distillery in Speyside. Today, Chivas Regal, produced by Chivas Brothers and based at the Strathisla distillery near Keith, is sold in over 150 countries and remains synonymous with quality, sustainability, and philanthropic commitment, notably supporting environmental protection and local initiatives.
