Coro Coro

The French company "Les Bienheureux", which, among other things, imports, blends and bottles rums, has named its Guatemalan aged rum with cocoa bean infusion "Coro Coro".
Coro-coro rojo is the red ibis of Gatemala, a long-billed bird whose colonies, which can number in the thousands, fly over sugarcane plantations. Its flamboyant red color is due to its diet (small mangrove crustaceans).
Les Bienheureux also owns the Guatemalan rum brand El Passador de Oro and the mixology rum Embargo, and markets Parati cachaça. Read less
