Marama

Marama is a brand of spiced rums with two different origins. On the one hand, we haveIndonesia, home of Batavia Arrack, a very traditional cane spirit. It's made from a parallel fermentation of molasses and rice. It's similar to Chinese baiju or Japanese shochu. On the other hand, we have a rum from the Fiji Islands. Made from molasses, it is aged for 3 to 5 years in bourbon barrels.
Both expressions benefit from infusions of selected spices. They are primarily intended to be enjoyed in cocktails. Read less
