Founded in 1977, Sangsom is one of Thailand's oldest distilleries. It is located in the sugar-cane-growing province of Nakhon Pathom.
The brand for his rum, Phraya, was launched in 2011.
Phraya is a Thai word referring to one of the highest ranks granted to a person by the king. This rank is granted only for exceptional service to the monarch and the country.
