Appleton Estate Hearts 2003 63°: Description and customer reviews

Appleton Estate Hearts Collection 2003 is a blend of Jamaican molasses rums made from 20 barrels from a single mark.

These casks were selected during a blind tasting between Luca Gargano (founder of Velier) and Joy Spence (Appleton master blender), in the cellars of the country's oldest rum distillery, which boasts almost 200,000 casks.

This rum was distilled in a Forsyth pot still in 2003, then aged for 18 years in American oak barrels in the tropical climate of Jamaica.

A total of 5,000 units were bottled in 2021. This highly aromatic rum has a high congenic content of 688 grams per hectoliter of pure alcohol.
