White agricultural rum from Guadeloupe, an infusion of citrus peel, spices and cane sugar: these are the ingredients of this authentic shrubb.
Nico's tasting notes
The nose is that of a genuine homemade schrubb. The orange zest is fat and juicy, its bitterness diffusing out of the glass. The acidity of the citrus fruit reveals all its freshness, even if some Christmas spices soften it a little.
On the palate, the power of the orange is bitter and spicy. The flavor is full and generous, enhanced by the richness of the agricultural rum. Sugar rounds out the finish, offsetting the bitterness of the zest.
"A lovely authentic schrubb, with a truer-than-life orange..."
francois-savary
The orange should be more present, and the other spices are a little strong.
Far from bad, though.
