Bacardi Cuatro is a molasses rum distilled in Puerto Rico. It is faithful to the Cuban style from which the Bacardi family originates. It is a light rum distilled in columns and aged between 4 and 6 years in ex-bourbon casks.
Its light yet aromatic profile has been specially designed to enhance your cocktails.
Nico's tasting notes
The nose opens with light caramel tinged with blond tobacco. Things get off to a peaceful start, all supple and bouncy. A veil of sweet spices crosses the image, the vanilla takes a little longer and lounges.
Aeration brings lightness and a hint of fruit, and the result is a fresher rum that retains a certain hold. You'd think there'd be some ethereal, spicy notes, but instead there's almost an aroma of cane, or at any rate of fresh cane juice syrup.
The palate is balanced and gently spicy. A little peppery and spicy heat is perceived in the first moments, but a beautiful bubble of acidulous and sweet fruit quickly takes hold of the taste buds. A few roasted flavors close the deal, with a steaming cup of sweet coffee.
The finish is light and caramelized, with a touch of licorice on the long finish.
"An easy, well-balanced rum that will adapt to any situation..."
Jules Bourgeois
Very delicate flavours, very pleasant, ideal for amateurs.
