- The 1st nose, all round, announces gourmet, slightly caramelized notes. Then the malted barley sets in, sublime, promising. For sure, Scotland is in my glass! Aeration lets iodized and herbaceous notes rise: after the indulgence, freshness sets in!
- The palate is gently woody, slightly caramelized and malty, barely spicy, everything is subtle and well balanced.
- The finish reveals a slight touch of fruit and sweet spices.
In conclusion, this whiskey is simple, direct, but so deep and so authentic, I highly recommend!
