Botran 18 is a rum made in the same Guatemalan distillery that produces the famous Zacapa.
It is less sweet and undoubtedly more complex than the latter. It will be particularly suited to rum lovers who like Zacapa and want to discover new rums.
What's more, this unbeatable1-liter version will be perfect for those who have made Botran 18 their rum of choice.
After distillation, the rum is aged in different types of casks (ex-bourbon, ex-sherry or ex-porto). The ageing cellar is located at an altitude of over 2,100 metres, allowing for a smaller share of the angels.
Blending is done progressively using the solera system. The final result is a blend of rums aged between 5 and 18 years.
