Nico's tasting notes
The nose of this rum offers a very funky, very friendly profile, carried by multicolored, ripe fruit. A silky ribbon of cherry, orange and vanilla notes runs through the nose. The fruit finishes with a creaminess that makes it very pastry-like.
Aeration reveals fruit that's a little more tart, a little more candy-like. The vanilla liqueur is flavored with cherry, as in a milky confection. A creamy, pastry-like quality returns.
The palate starts out fruity and tangy, in the realm of confectionery. Flavors of barley sugar, peach and strawberry candy are present, but without any impression of sweetness. Next, a cottony wave appears. It's made of coconut milk, condensed milk and vanilla, still in a gourmand spirit but without heaviness.
The finish is relatively light, like a tender nougat.
