This glacial mint ginger rum arrangé is a bestseller! Ginger, which adds pepper and lemon aromas, blends perfectly with glacial mint, itself composed of... ginger, alongside mint of course, menthol and herbs (jambu and galanga). Vanilla completes the blend, and the rum is an agricole from Guadeloupe.
Made by Bretons steeped in Guadeloupean culture, this arrangé won a bronze medal at the Concours Général Agricole de Paris 2017.
Nico's tasting notes
The nose is very refreshing and at the same time rather sweet, like a peppermint. The rum slips in between the mint scents, carrying the ginger close to it. Vegetal and spice, combined with freshness, give this rhum arrangé an interesting camphorated air.
On the palate, it's up to you to decide which is more appealing, the roundness or the freshness. This hot/cold sensation is pleasant and, above all, original. The sweetness gently gives way to a lemony agricultural rum, which carries some almost woody ginger flavors.
