Breiz'Île Pomme Caramel Au Beurre Salé is a rhum arrangé de terroir(s!). On the one hand, there's the richness and generosity of Guadeloupe's rhum agricole. Made from pure cane juice, it is the pride of the French West Indies. On the other, Breiz'île has selected 100% Breton products, including the famous salted butter caramel. This gourmet rum is balanced by fresh apples, which add juiciness and tartness.
Nico's tasting notes
The nose is generously spread with salted-butter caramel, with a milky edge that adds a great deal of sweetness. The apple is subtle and light, as is the rum. These two ingredients add a touch of freshness.
On the palate, it's as smooth as butterscotch cream, with the warmth of the rum coming through quickly to give it all a little more body. Apples and citrus fruits join forces to bring vivacity and balance to the finish.
