This rum from Guyana was distilled in 2008 in the famous Port Mourant wooden still from molasses. It was bottled by Bristol Spirits Ltd in 2019.
The Port Mourant distillery closed many years ago. Nevertheless, its double wooden still continues to produce rum at the Diamond Distillery (DDL).
This cuvée was first aged in British Guiana before being transferred to the Bristol cellars. It was aged exclusively in ex-bourbon casks.
The rum is unfiltered, and bottled at 43°.
