This rum from Guyana was distilled in 2008 in the famous Port Mourant wooden still from molasses. It was bottled by Bristol Spirits Ltd in 2019.
The Port Mourant distillery closed many years ago. Nevertheless, its double wooden still continues to produce rum at the Diamond Distillery (DDL).
This vintage spent a first part of its aging in British Guiana before being transferred to the Bristol cellars. The aging was carried out exclusively in ex-bourbon barrels.
The rum was not filtered, and the bottling was done at 43°.
