Chalong Bay Lunar Series is a collection presented in 2022 at Whisky Live by Phuket-based Thai distillery Chalong Bay. This first opus is bottled for LMDW's Antipodes collection.
The Lunar Series collection is inspired by the Thai lunar calendar. As can be seen on the label, the year 2022 is represented by a tiger.
This pure cane juice rum was distilled in a copper Armagnac still in Phuket, then sent to France. Once in France, it was aged in 2 ex-bourbon casks for 20 months.
Bottling was carried out in France, without reduction.
