Chivas Royal Salute 62 Gun Salute is an exceptional blended Scotch whisky. This cuvée is a tribute to the 4 master blenders who have succeeded each other at Chivas since 1953. This year corresponds to the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, and thus to the first edition of Royal Salute. Every year, to commemorate this event, 62 cannon shots are fired in the Queen's honor. That's where this cuvée gets its prestigious name from.
The decanter that holds this nectar is a veritable work of goldsmiths' art. It is hand-blown and hand-cut, surrounded by crystal and gold from stopper to neck.
