The enigmatic name "Clarendoni" quickly conjures up for connoisseurs 2 very distinct distilleries, Clarendon and Caroni.
This rum is the result of blending two rum casks produced in 1997. The first comes from Jamaica's Clarendon distillery, and the second from the legendary Caroni distillery. Each rum was aged for at least 20 years in the tropics before being transferred to Scotland.
A slight reduction to 60° was made before bottling in this magnificent blown glass bottle that Decadent Drinks reserves for its particular vintages. 95 examples of this unique blend were produced in 2023, after 25 years of aging.
