Cristóbal Santa Maria 2024 is a rum originating from the Dominican Republic .
Distilled in 2010 in column stills, this rum benefited from 14 years of tropical aging, beginning in American white oak barrels, then finished in ex-Calvados casks, resulting in a unique aromatic profile. It was bottled in 2024.
The name of this vintage pays homage to the Santa María de la Inmaculada Concepción , better known as the Santa María, the largest of the three caravels used by Christopher Columbus on his first transatlantic voyage in 1492.
