Produced by the Dominican Republic distillery Oliver & Oliver, Cubaney Gran Reserva is a very old rum aged an average of 12 years in the solera system, between 1995 and 2007.
Tasting notes
Cubaney 12 ans has an attractive golden color and a nose that is at first discreet. As it opens up, the rum's woody character emerges, adding notes of dried fruit and butterscotch.
The palate is very full-bodied. It is also straightforward. Then, aromas of caramel, toffee and flambéed banana melt into a beautiful harmony. A touch of spice completes the rich aromatic palette.
The finish is long. It brings fruity and spicy notes.
