Damoiseau Rhum Blanc Agricole 55° is an agricultural rum from Guadeloupe. It comes to us from the famous Moule distillery, on Grande-Terre. It is a slightly more powerful version of the iconic Damoiseau blanc 50° rum.
It comes out of the distillation column at 88% alcohol. This pure cane juice rum is then rested for 2 to 6 months in oak tuns. During this period, the degree is gradually reduced to 55%.
At the Bellevue distillery, it's said that a Guadeloupean won't stop drinking Damoiseau rum until one of the two porters has set foot ashore.
