The name Darboussier is not unknown in the world of rum since it is a sugar factory founded in 1869 in Guadeloupe, in Pointe-à-Pitre. This distillery, now closed for many years, continues to live on through a brand and a range of rum developed by a Guadeloupean liquor maker.
This Hors d'age edition comes from the blend of several rums aged in oak barrels. The latter are aged 6.7 and 8 years and come from a distillery on the island.

Michel Adrassé
Beautiful color, nice sweetness, not very sweet for a molasses rum, with also a nice aroma that is quite pleasant to drink.
