Don Q Seleccion Especial is a Puerto Rican rum from the Serrallés distillery. This distillery is well known in the rum world for the seriousness of its production processes, as well as for its environmental and social commitments.
This blend is a special editionui celè20 years of collaboration between Don Q and its distributor. Jaiker Soto, the house's maestro ronero, worked on this Seleccion Especial. Light and full-bodied rums were aged between 6 and 15 years, in American oak barrels. They had already been mixed and blended, according to the Solera principle, and then finally blended together. Some very old rums were also added to enhance the whole.
