2024 marks the second edition of the Zodiac collection from the Ricci Family.
For this edition, the sign of Aries is represented by a blend of two old molasses rums with strong characters:
- The first is 14 years old and comes from the Jamaican distillery Hampden. It is from the 2009 vintage and displays the DOK marks for Dermot Owen Kelly-Lawson. It was distilled in a pot still. The DOK marks are the highest from the Hampden distillery. It corresponds to an ester content of between 1500 and 1600 g/hlap during distillation.
- The second rum comes from the Travellers distillery located in Belize. It is produced from molasses with a column still. Distilled in 2008, it has aged for 16 years.
The whole is aged in ex-bourbon American oak barrels.
