In December 2022, Maison Ferroni presented a collection of 4 rums in collaboration with 3 Marseille breweries.
The 4 cuvées have been created from the same rum from Mauritius. This was distilled in 2015 from pure cane juice.
Each cuvée was matured in a barrel that had first been used 1) to age Ferroni Boucan d'enfer rum, then 2) to age a different beer.
For this cuvée, the barrel was aged with a Barley Wine-type beer from Brasserie Rubé.
