Ferroni Flamant is an agricultural rum produced by Maison Ferroni . The 2023 vintage is the third.
This rum is the result of a collaboration between Kévin Toussaint, a young farmer passionate about spirits, Guillaume Ferroni, and his team.
A local sugarcane variety, over 60 years old, was planted in Hyères-les-Palmiers in the Var region . This cane is harvested by hand and crushed in the Drôme region, in a wine press. The resulting juice then undergoes a long fermentation of 11 days . Finally, the wine is distilled in Aubagne in a 19th-century pot still fueled by wood fire.
This is the first 100% metropolitan rum.
