Jérémie's tasting notes
On the nose: generous notes of caramel, vanilla, and roasted wood immediately rise from the glass. With aeration, the bouquet gains complexity with aromas of menthol, light camphor, candied fruits, notably apricot and quince, accompanied by a touch of floral notes and a delicate hint of anise.
On the palate: the attack is soft, round, and slightly refreshing. Flavors of caramelized sugar and honey are the first to emerge, before giving way to a light peppery character and delicate citrus notes. Nuances of cocoa enrich the aromatic profile, while a herbaceous bitterness gradually develops, complementing the candied fruit perceived on the nose. A subtle alcoholic sensation precedes the return of roasted wood notes, before sweet spices harmoniously conclude the tasting.
The finish: moderately long, it prolongs a beautiful bitterness of citrus and herbs, supported by sweet spices where nutmeg and subtle notes of caraway are expressed.
