Glenmorangie The Quinta Ruban Port Extra Matured 14 Years is an extended ageing of the "classic" Quinta Ruban 12 Years. This single malt from the Scottish Highlands is blended by the famous master blender, Dr. Bill Lumsden.
Most of the ageing (12 years) takes place in American oak barrels that have been topped up with bourbon. A further two years of maturation are carried out in ruby Port casks. These casks come from "Quintas", the Port houses where the "ruby" ports are aged, hence the name of this cuvée.
