This Grosperrin Le Roch Extra is an AOC Petite Champagne cognac, a blend of very old cognacs.
This bottling was born of the discovery of very old batches of Petite Champagne from an undivided estate. A widow inherited cognacs produced in the Angeac-Champagne area, one of the region's finest terroirs. These very old batches were then blended with older, more floral cognacs, slightly reduced, then aged in small casks in the Grosperrin cellars.
