This Grosperrin N°45 Fins Bois is a very old cognac made from a single cask of one of the few batches in the Grosperrin collection to come from a trading house.
This important and renowned house, located in the commune of Jarnac, was for a long time owned by a Japanese spirits group. For unknown reasons, it wished to dispose of a few batches of very old cognacs. This highly confidential transaction was carried out through a sworn broker.
This is a rare batch of two casks of undeniable interest, although Grosperrin cannot guarantee that it has never been blended.
The cognac was bottled in October 2020, with no reduction in alcohol content.
